I've got the Blizzard 2.25 saddle bags set up on my Honda CRF300L, and they're a really great match for this type of lightweight adventure trail bike.
I love not having a rack on the bike, keeping weight down as much as possible.
The design keeps everything close to the bike and gives me plenty of useful carrying capacity without turning the CRF into a huge, heavy touring setup. The bags seem to be best set up as close as possible to the centre of the bike for me, not so close they rub your legs but close enough that they move less.
They're really well suited to the kind of riding I do, where I'm mixing road riding with off-road and more remote adventures.
They give me enough space for the essentials for a few nights when combined with additional bags such as the tornado, while still keeping the bike relatively narrow and manageable when I'm riding off-road. Straightforward to fit and remove, it’s worth cutting down the straps, to avoid them getting caught up in anything.
I've been using them for adventure day rides so far, and plan to use them for multi-day trips along with the tornado top bag and hurricane rucksack.
